Now it’s time to HELP Marissa!

For the entire month of March, I will be donating a percentage of my sales to a fellow Animal Lover/Rescuer. Her name is Marissa Hebert. She lost EVERYTHING all the contents of her home. Thankfully her two dogs survived, but she lost two of her precious kitty cats, they didn’t make it.

(In the early morning hours of February 19, 2019, Marissa Hebert lost her entire home to a devastating fire. Her upstairs neighbor, Marissa, and her two dogs made it out in time however she is unsure about her two cats.

Marissa has helped SO many in the community between her job at Catholic Charities and her animal rescue, Dog House Adoptions/Pawsome Pups Persevere.

Now it’s time to HELP Marissa! She has lost everything so whether you can help monetarily via this fundraiser or have other essentials, please come forward. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and everyone who considers her family, friend, or animal advocate!)

PAPER CRANE NECKLACE origami crane hope and healing Crane

Traditionally, it was believed that if one folded 1000 origami cranes, ones wish would come true. It has also become a symbol of hope and healing during challenging times. As a result, it has become popular to fold 1000 cranes (in Japanese, called “senbazuru”). A thousand paper cranes are traditionally given as a wedding gift by the father, who is wishing a thousand years of happiness and prosperity upon the couple. They can also be given to a new baby for long life and good luck. Hanging them in ones home is thought to be a powerfully lucky and benevolent charm.
